After few days OnePlus released Cyanogen 12S based on Android 5.0 Lollipop for One smartphone, Micromax has follow their lead and has announced that Cyanogen 12 update rollout for Yu Yureka will begins starting from Thursday. The firm further says the update will come in three phrases and the phrases will be carried out in next three days via OTA (over-the-air). As usual, users will receive a notification alerting them of the new update. They can also manually check under Settings -> About if auto update is not enabled. The Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Cyanogen 12 for Micromax Yu Yureka brings lot of features onboard which includes Cyanogen Email powered by Boxer, it comes with various options like managing of multiple accounts, gestures for applying certain functions withing email, and different LED color selection for notifications. The camera has also been improved and more features has been added in the new update. This include continuous shot option and low light performance. App Themer onboard lets users apply a specific background in each apps installed on their phones. Also withing the app they can choose to purchase different themes. Other new features are new lock screen, smart lock, and various improvements in power and battery life sector. In January, TWRP custom recovery for Yu Yureka was released which allow users to flash zip files, custom kernels and tweak their phone even further.
